It is free to add your profile and search for other members, nights out and social events listings. If all you want is a more active social life, this could also be the site for you. As it's looking to put young, urban professionals in touch, it's not surprising that it's a paying site, although the price is pretty reasonable and, if you are an active social animal you could most likely get the fee back in discounted events in the course of a year. They occasionally run their own events where you could meet up with friends you've only chatted to online, but in a more relaxed atmosphere than a one on one date.

A lot to recommend it as a good niche site with lots of experience and a selective member base.
