An Australian and New Zealand based dating site with a totally different look and feel to the usual US and UK sites. This one states right on the home page that 'Your Online Singles Bar is a dating site totally opposed to cruel and unnecessary consumer-product testing on animals. If you care about animals, yourself, click on Mr Bunny-no-name and read what he had to say.' Also on the home page there separate entrances to the main site for 'Gentlement' and 'Ladies' looking for partners, dates and friends, and a shower of pink stars cascades down the screen while you read.

The original nature of this site isn't just on the home page however, on entering, you get a full on romantic spiel: '
You're a caring man looking for a loving woman, yes? Well, honey, you're most certainly going to meet one now....
....and when you do you'll discover that I'm exactly what you've always and forever wanted in your life. Yes, honey, we'll fit together so snugly -- I guarantee it -- and nothing will ever be the same again. Oh no, my love. Not for either of us.' complete with pictures and an invitation to 'come and get me'. This is before you've registered or looked at any members pics. But intriguing, so what the hell!

Clicking on this takes you to AdultFriendfinder's site, offering: 'Indulge yourself and find partners for hot Sexual Encounters!' and as this is the only place to go from this site, it seems it's just a gateway to soak up men into another site entirely, which is in fact a worldwide site and not specific to Australia or New Zealand. As this is trickery, and smacks of the way the porn sites operate [and popups start appearing], it's unlikely to be the place you find your soul mate or even friends, but if you want to exchange sexually explicit emails with like-minded singles, then it might suit. There are more honest ways of going about it though, so be warned. This site is obviously just earning commission for click-thrus to the AdultFriendfinder site.

The site also takes measurably longer to load than the average dating site due to the large graphics it uses, which are clearly of models.
